Safety & Sanitization
The commercial vinyl cleaning process and safety practices behind every bounce house, water slide, and obstacle course we deliver in Dallas, GA and Northwest Georgia.
Why Hygiene Matters on Inflatables
An inflatable is a shared surface. Dozens of hands and bare feet touch the same handholds, ramps, and slide lanes in a single afternoon, and then the unit travels to the next backyard, school, or church. Families in Dallas, Hiram, and Powder Springs deserve to know what happens to that vinyl between their event and the one before it.
Public-health guidance, including information published by the CDC, emphasizes cleaning high-touch surfaces and using EPA-registered disinfectants according to label directions. We follow cleaning practices consistent with that guidance on disinfecting high-touch surfaces. We are not certified or approved by the CDC — no party rental company is — but we use it as a sensible framework for our routine.

1. Inspect
Every unit is walked top to bottom when it comes back from an event — seams and stitching, anchor points, blower housing and cord, safety netting, and every vinyl surface. Anything worn is flagged before the unit goes back on the calendar.
2. Remove debris
Grass, sand, leaves, confetti, and snack crumbs are swept and vacuumed out of bounce floors, landing areas, and slide lanes. Disinfectant only works on a surface that has been cleaned first.
3. Disinfect high-touch vinyl
Handholds, entry and exit ramps, walls, climb areas, and slide lanes are wiped with a commercial disinfectant labeled safe for vinyl and PVC, and the product is left on the surface for the dwell time listed on its label.
4. Spot clean
Juice, mud, grass, and scuff marks are treated with a mild detergent and vinyl-safe cleaners using soft brushes and microfiber cloths — never harsh abrasives or solvents that can damage vinyl.
5. Dry completely
Washed units are inflated and aired out until fully dry. Nothing is rolled up damp, which keeps mildew and musty odors out of the inventory.
6. Store and re-check
Dry units are rolled and stored, then re-checked before they load for your event: clean surfaces, secure netting, working blower, and a complete stake and strap kit.
Sanitization Transparency: What We Use and Why
Event planners often ask what goes on the vinyl. We describe product types rather than brand names because supplies can change, but the categories do not:
- Commercial disinfectant labeled safe for vinyl and PVC inflatables, applied as directed and left for the label's dwell time
- Mild detergent and vinyl-safe cleaners for dirt, grass, and stain spot treatment
- Soft brushes and microfiber cloths — no harsh abrasives, bleach scrubbing, or solvents
- Full air-drying before any unit is rolled and stored
Dwell time matters: a disinfectant needs to stay wet on a cleaned surface for the time printed on its label to work as intended. Wiping it off early is one of the most common mistakes in inflatable cleaning, and it is the step we are most careful about. Surfaces are dry before a unit is packed, so equipment arrives at your event ready to use.
Safety Rules for Your Event
Clean equipment is half the picture. The other half is how it is used on event day. Our crew handles delivery, setup, anchoring, and pickup; these rules keep everyone safe in between.
- Adult supervision is required the entire time the inflatable is in use. We do not provide attendants, so please assign a responsible adult before the first jumper goes in.
- Our crew stakes or anchors every unit during setup. Leave the stakes, straps, and sandbags in place and keep the blower running whenever anyone is inside.
- Watch the weather. Stop use and have everyone exit in high wind, lightning, or heavy rain, and wait until conditions are safe before starting again.
- Follow the capacity and age guidance on the unit's manufacturer label. Fewer jumpers at a time is always safer than more.
- Shoes, glasses, jewelry, and sharp objects come off before entering. No food, drinks, gum, silly string, or face paint inside.
- Group jumpers by size. Keep toddlers separate from older kids and adults, and no flips, wrestling, or climbing on walls.
Our equipment is commercial-grade, maintained for compliance with ASTM F2374 amusement-device safety standards, and fully insured. Planning for little ones? Read our toddler inflatable safety guide.
Safety & Sanitization FAQs
How often are your inflatables cleaned?
After every rental. Each unit is inspected, cleaned, disinfected on high-touch surfaces, dried, and re-checked before its next delivery.
What do you clean the inflatables with?
Commercial disinfectant labeled safe for vinyl and PVC, used according to label directions including dwell time, plus mild detergent and vinyl-safe cleaners for spot cleaning. We use soft brushes and microfiber cloths rather than abrasives.
Are you CDC certified?
No — the CDC does not certify party rental companies. We follow cleaning practices consistent with public-health guidance on cleaning and disinfecting high-touch surfaces and using EPA-registered disinfectants according to label directions.
Do you provide an attendant during the event?
No. We deliver, set up, and pick up the equipment, but adult supervision during the event is the renter's responsibility.
Is your equipment insured?
Yes. Our equipment is commercial-grade, maintained for compliance with ASTM F2374 amusement-device safety standards, and fully insured.
What happens if the weather turns bad?
